Custom Projects

Here's a small collection of the various projects we’ve completed throughout the years.

Former Anthem Building - Worthington, Ohio

Designed and built in-house, these step rails are constructed out of stainless steel tubing and laser cut panels. Finished in our signature semi-gloss black powder coat, these rails are sure to last though Ohio’s harshest winters for years to come.

Car Condo - Plain City, Ohio

This project is one of my personal favorites. We were tasked with building a guard rail and step rail to enclose the upper mezzanine of a client’s garage. The client requested a modern/streamlined style with the use of wire in between the posts. From our previous experiences in commercial applications, we opted to use solid steel rods which are less likely to sag over time. This particular guard rail was designed taller than usual to accommodate the addition of an aluminum drink rail mounted at standard counter height.

The finishes we used were specifically chosen to provide contrast between the colors within the space including his automobile collection (not shown) which is comprised of gunmetal and silver vehicles. To achieve this, the rails were powder coated in Black Chrome. The drink rail was finished using an automotive-grade polish/sealant to protect against oxidation and spills.

In the end, we were successful in conveying sophistication through simplicity.

Bellefontaine, Ohio

This bar was outfitted with both wine racks and mini-fridge refacing. They were both built using both modern and traditional manufacturing methods. Laser-cut panels were incorporated into the design and were used to house wine bottles on each side of the bar. The trim pieces were hammered to create a weathered wrought iron appearance.

Both the wine racks & fridge faces were then heat treated and hand-rubbed with beeswax to provide a natural-looking finish. The beeswax is a natural finish that protects the metal from oxidation without the use of harsh chemicals or polyurethane.
